[okay, i admit that i was less than flattering in my previous posting about the band back in april 2011. i was really turned off by their derivative songwriting skills (everything sounding like something else) and kind of wrote them off. now fast forward to 2012 and it looks like the UK trio have regrouped and come back with new material that showcase a possibly exciting new upcoming album. i'm digging the current single and will await their album 'sweet sour' to figure out if this is a one off or a possible new love affair!]

[nothing like bringing in gay porn daddy arpad miklos as your fictitious tender lover. with a way too short video, perfume genius (aka mike hadreas) offers up a borderline feasible explanation of this relationship (something about the makeup and the costumes are his freaky deaky true self that he'll never show his lover... um whatevs) and enough interest to checking out his upcoming album 'put your back n 2 it']
