basshunter - boten anna ("now you're gone" original version)

basshunter - boten anna [link 2]
[with the new english version storming up to the the uk #1 spot this week, i thought i'd pass on the original (and better) swedish version for you. the song is just plain silly, but at least the swedish version has basshunter (aka jonas altberg) himself walking around with stringy hair, riding a dune bug styled like he's a russian 90's pop star. genius really.]

uhmmm... my friend has talked to actual people from Sweden, they said Boten Anna is about an internet online chat bot...

Way to have the exact same tune and background for 2 songs...

Boten (bot) Anna is about a chat bot named Anna. Now you're gone is a different song entirely.

English translation.

It is a silly song but hilarious idea though. :)

Basshunter's a right geek but I love the chintzy Eurotrash-style videos. Have you seen the versions of this song where people try to English translations phonetically? It's rather amusing.

the original lyrics are straightforward and about a bot called Anna that moderates a chat room. However, one day she tells Basshunter that she is really a beautiful woman. However, he declines saying "for me you will always be a bot". HAHAHAHA! European music is the best!
