kleerup feat loreen - requiem solution
collaborating with last years eurovision winner loreen, kleerup brings us yet another hypnotic electronic ballad that will no doubt cement itself on our playlists for the coming months. though, i'm hoping that a more epic remix will be coming soon, this version will do just nicely thank you!

like the song? check out this stripped down, string heavy live performance at the swedish grammy awards last week

WONGIE SONG OF THE WEEK: robyn - dancing on my own

robyn - dancing on my own
[oh this is wonderful!!! the official 1st single off robyn's upcoming album 'body talk part 1' leaked earlier today and it's the perfect blend of internal 'woe is me' poppery mixed in with serious electro beats thanks to usual conspirators kleerup. i'm in heaven!]

song of the week: kleerup feat titiyo - longing for lullabies (video premiere)

[dj/producer kleerup returns to the charts with a melancholic dance track featuring titiyo (aka sis of neneh cherry). it reminds me of the dreamy ballads of the new wave 80's, but then again, everything does these days. simple and pretty darn awesome at the same time. which makes it easily my favorite song of the week.]

wongie top songs of 2007: #4 robyn feat kleerup - with every heartbeat

robyn feat kleerup - with every heartbeat [link 2]
[though this song was released as a radio only track in sweden late 2006, it wasn't until mid august (and the UK release of robyn's career/image changing self titled album) that brought this amazing heartbreaking tune into popular consciousness. to me, this was one of the saddest songs of the year made all the more addictive because of it's hypnotic beats that surround it. truly a brilliant piece of pop!]

[one of my favorite songs of 2006 gets a re-release through robyn's self-titled album. the new video sees a distressed robyn literally smushed by the obstacles around her. is this love? gosh, i hope not... thanks to popjustice for the video tip]

hot song! kleerup feat robyn - with every heartbeat

kleerup feat robyn - with every heartbeat
[a last minute release for 2006, this is one of the best songs of the year AND it features the awesome swedish singer robyn!]
