hear good music: nylon studios present iLo / forever thursday

my good friend sabina tipped me on this recording studio in sydney australia called nylon studios that not only represents a collective of in-house composers and artists that write jingles for tv ads, but also release their stuff commercially under different guises.

the end result is a talent pool that is wonderfully quirky creative AND understands the need to grab your attention within the first 30 seconds. not only that, but after listening to these songs in full, i am officially hooked and can't wait to hear what else this place will pump out!

[composer ole chang wrote this lovely summery anthem for the telstra telecom group. i've been bopping along to this ditty all day long and personally, i think it should be released as a pop single!]

forever thursday feat melanie horsnell - how can it be [link 2]
[the first single release from nylon studios in which the jingle for jc penney was so popular, that they decided to release it properly under the guise of forever thursday. featuring singer/songwriter melanie horsnell on vocals, this song is just deliciously sweet!]
