when it comes to steps, there is nothing but pure unadulterated love that i have for these five wonderfully cheesy performers! the song (written by carl ryden & fiona bevan) deserves an award in it's perfect crafting of an ABBA-esque modern pop sound (there's even a key change!!). then the dancing! oh the dance number than even your grandma can do! i love how the boys still have no reason to be there but be backup dancers and well... it's the perfect experience that only steps can do! 20 years in the making and it's just awesome!

[figured today would be a great day to revisit the swedish act erik hassle. the 20 year old boy has been on my blip since late july and it looks like he's really getting the big push in the UK these days. it's all deserving cause he's definitely one of the more exciting acts to come out this year.]
