cult folk punk singer songwriter frank turner returns with a brand new album 'positive songs for negative people' and an equally inspiring anthem in the form of the albums' first single 'the next storm'. though his brand of empowering power singalongs isn't for everyone, the man is definitely one of my guilty pleasures.

[singer of the people, frank turner, manages to offer up an ode to his hometown of winchester. definitely more folk than his previous releases, he still has that rousing voice that makes you want to walk down the street and sing along with his music (as the fans do in the video). we heart frank!]

[there is something so 'peoples troubadour' about singer/songwriter frank turner that his fans are just hardcore about him. throw in the fact that his songs are insanely catchy and anthemic therefore making him the torchbearer of the folk punk movement. love this guy (even though he sometimes screams at me too loud)]
