it's never a good thing when you put out a follow-up single only weeks after the 1st one is released. but in the case of gwen stefani, it looks like the lackluster reaction to wind it up is reason enough to quickly put out single number #2 from her upcoming (and just as lackluster) album the sweet escape (not that this choice is any better). gwen stefani feat pharrell - yummy

Gwen's nadir. I hate this song. Stupidest lyrics ever! I am not really so sure it is the next single though - it's just too close to Wind it Up. Ironically Pharrell produced one of my big faves on the CD: U Started It, which sounds nothing like this!
