back in april of 2006, the anonymous duo of the knife performed a rare live performance in gothenburg, sweden, in support of their wonderful (and now classic) album silent shout. the concert footage, directed by marius dybwad brandrud, also featured live visuals by andreas nilsson who offered up a brilliant video experience that detracted from the shy, mask wearing siblings. this week, the re-released special edition of silent shout not only features the original album with their music videos, but this special concert AND the short film 'when i found the knife' (see the shorts below). it's like my birthday came a few days early! (thanks to mtv 2's subterreanean for the tip!)
