[back in 2006, the album 'the trials of van occupanther' was easily one of my favorite albums that year. with it's lush harmonies and retro feel, it offered a soundtrack to an introspective late summer of beautiful memories. with their upcoming album 'the courage of others' ready for a feb 2010 release, it looks like i'll be plugged into my ipod again for some time.]
