shane macgowan and friends - i put a spell on you (for haiti)
[what a strange but kind of cool choice for a charity single. shane macgowan (pogues) gathers together a ragtag group of rockers and singers (chrissy hynde, nick cave, the sex pistol's glen matlock, JOHNNY DEPP (?), primal scream's bobby gillespie, newbies paloma faith and eliza doolittle) to cover screamin’ jay hawkins’s classic blues song (i swear at one point it looks like all your drunk uncles have taken over the karaoke machine!). all proceeds go to the dublin based concern worldwide who have been aiding haiti for the past 16 years.]

Looking for Cave's 2010 remasters and found your post on Shane MacGowan and Friends. Thanks for the info! Great blog; keep up the good work. BTW, Glen Matlock was in the Sex Pistols, not The Clash.
