steve aoki vs duran duran - hungry like the wolf (the new york werewolf mix)
[when i talked to steve aoki a few days back, he was uber excited to be collaborating with a band that he listened to as a teenager. no matter how hard i asked, he wouldn't tell me who it was. all he could say was that it would all be exposed at an exclusive party thrown last night by trident gum for 3000 fans. turns out it was duran duran (cue teenage glee!) and the track that steve remixed was the classic 'hungry like the wolf' which the band performed live alongside. if you like what you hear, you can get it for free here. while we're on the topic of steve, he did leak out that he will be working soon with the blue man group to do a very special gig in vegas AND he just finished recording some tracks with the hot band knife party. the guy is a collaboration machine!]
