where the heck did this sweet soul duo come from? made up of syd the kid (vocals) and matt martians (producer/ co-songwriter), the two actually hail from the odd future collective working as their touring dj and illustrator (respectively) before sneaking off to record some demos of their own. the resounding interest led to them getting together a group of friends and recording this wonderfully laid back soul jam that just makes you wanna mellow boogie. can't wait to hear what other gems they have on their forthcoming album 'feel good'!
