why i totally missed posting this a few months back is beyond me, but now that the x factor alum has herself a #1 UK single with her debut (co-written by ryan tedder of onerepublic no less), i must do a catch up post to support this talent. easily one of my fave singers ever from the competition, this is a hopeful example of the smart sophisticated stuff that ella will be putting out in the coming year!
