can't believe it's been 3 years since michael angelakos and co have released material. much has been because michael took some time off to recuperate from health issues. feeling better, passion pit return with a fun synth pop insta-anthem that harks back to the good ol mid-80's! can't wait to hear more from the upcoming album 'kindred'!!

madeon feat passion pit - pay no mind (video premiere)
with perfect timing, 20 year old french dj/producer hugo pierre leclercq (aka madeon) releases his latest single with PP's michael fronting the vocals. the soulful french disco number demands loud playback and teases a solid upcoming debut album from the young talent. definitely place madeon on your radar for the year!

hot damn is this song a massive indie pop hit (well it is written by charli xcx, benny blanco, cashmere cat and passion pit's michael angelakos). a definite buzzy track during the late summer, the song now gets a proper video release for the masses and i guarantee that it'll be a big smash. the year of the indie pop gal continues with this on our radar gem.
