[UPDATED 2/9: almost 5 months from it's audio release (and making it in our fave songs of last year list) cam FINALLY puts out an official video for her infidelity anthem that still sounds just as exciting and fresh after all these months! hopefully this video release also allows for the song to be a massive hit as well!]

here's what i wrote back in october:
what i've always loved about singer/songwriter cam is that you can hear the wide variety of influences in her music that definitely allows her to straddle various genres and not JUST 'country music'. with 'diane', you can just hear her love of joyous harmonies that made fleetwood mac and indigo girls such favorite singalong bands. what a wonderful song for your weekend (even though it's about a philanderer!)

yeah this is probably the best indie pop track you'll be hearing all week! with just the right amount of electro pop ennui before breaking out into an all encompassing anthem, mikky ekko proves that he has the chops to break out on his own (riri who?) it's on a happy repeat in wongie's world and should be for you too!

there's something to be said that you can sing along to a song almost instantly after the 1st verse. this is the case of the 5 piece brisbane band, ball park music, who manage to craft insta-catchy numbers for the masses. their 2nd album 'museum' was nominated for album of the year by the highly influential australian radio station triple j, which perfectly sets up the buzz for ball park music to break internationally (especially with single's like this one!).

how epic pop is this? a proper singalong anthem that's perfect from one of our fave debut acts of last year. i cannot wait to see what 2013 will offer lead singer dan smith and his band of merry men!
