kelly clarkson - i know you won't (carrie underwood cover) (live @ vh1 unplugged)
[goosebumps! pure goosebumps! as kelly hits the kind of notes that just make you tear up cause you're hearing something beyond the voice. as a teaser to the 5 song unplugged set that is going to air next thursday on vh1, kelly takes on the carrie underwood ballad and well... goosebumps! amazing!]

kelly clarkson - what doesn't kill you (stronger)
[for those of you who haven't heard the follow up single to 'mr know it all', check out what is easily one of my fave tracks on the album stronger!]

WONGIE COVER OF THE MONTH: adele - promise this (cheryl cole cover) (live @ bbc live lounge)

adele - promise this (cheryl cole cover)(live @ bbc live lounge)
[bet you never thought the cheryl cole song would sound THIS amazing! btw, billboard just published their cover story of adele this week, read the whole article here.]

WONGIE COVER OF THE MONTH: bon iver - come talk to me (peter gabriel cover)

bon iver - come talk to me (peter gabriel cover)
[oh my gosh, this cover is just simply blissful. released in conjunction with record store day, bon iver recording was part of a double AA 7" in which peter gabriel did an interpretation of iver's "flume". i can lose myself in this song... sigh!]

WONGIE COVER OF THE MONTH: florence and the machine & billy bragg - fairytale of new york (the pogues & kirsty maccoll cover) (live in session)

florence and the machine & billy bragg - fairytale of new york (the pogues & kirsty maccoll cover) (bbc live in session)
[one of my all time favorite songs gets a pre-xmas performance on bbc's live in session. i missed this a month ago, but it's never too late to discover a brilliant cover by billy bragg and florence and the machine. i'm totally getting misty!!!]
