a few months back, we came across the highly celebratory house track 'crank it' featuring some kick ass latin grooves and a hypnotic vocal hook. fast forward to the fall and the original version is now packed with actual lyrics and hooks galore. it's definitely made it cheesier but somehow i can't stop silly dancing to this version. sometimes you just want to have fun... now crank it!

not only is this the current #1 on the kpop charts, but the video (and insanely catchy song) has gone viral with over 12 million hits worldwide. psy (aka park jae sang) actually graduated from boston university and berklee college of music to go back to korea to become a recording artist. poking fun at himself while making dance pop songs, gangnam style is actually the 1st single off his upcoming 6th album. i can't stop watching this video and you will too if you haven't experienced it yet! just brilliant!
