battling a bad flu, there were rumors that pink struggled through her final dress rehearsal a few days back. but pink is a monster and she came out strong performing the national anthem in front of the world before the superbowl kicked off (and yes that was a throat lozenges she took out before singing ;)

you can criticize JT all you want about how he didn't bring janet jackson back or even throw in an n'sync gathering, but at the end of it all, the man sure knows how to throw a tight medley party that gets the audience going. plus he makes it look so easy! (loved the prince tribute midway too) all in all, a great job!

released a few hours after her live performance on the grammys (see below), p!nk took to a simple white top and jeans approach for both versions giving us just the song to focus on. originally written for the film 'suffragette' (but didn't make the final cut), "wild hearts..." feels just as timely and inspirational these days and marks a perfect 3rd single release from her 'beautiful trauma' album. love it!

i LOVE it when p!nk dances in her videos, but i REALLY LOVE it when p!nk dances to the goldenboyz (aka nick florez & rj durell) (like in the video for try). this time roping in the wonderful channing tatum, the duo go through some fun twisted kinky couple stuff all the while dancing circles to the fun choreo. paired to one of my already fave songs of the year and you have the perfect combination. LOVE THIS!!!

THIS is the most insane live performance i've seen in awhile! firstly pink goes back on the ropes and gives us a professional level acrobatic experience, then she re-enacts the choreographic highlights of her "try" video with dancer colt prattes and tops it up with crazy PERFECT vocals for her duet with nate. i am breathless just explaining all this! she's amazing...

first of all, director floria sigismondi is AMAAAZING. she allows the power of the choreography (done by the golden boyz) to tell the story and only adds visual flourishings with dashes of color (representing all the various states of a emotion yo!) and simple non-distracting edits. secondly, pink gives it her all. it's raw and violent and beautiful and just amazing to witness. finally, co star colt prattes is fit! like sick fit! like are you kidding me fit (AND he can dance?). the whole thing is just amazing and i am obsessed!

the first single off her upcoming 6th album 'the truth about love', pink is back with a rollicking third finger anthem for the masses and working again with her visual partner in crime dave meyers. i'm on the fence about the song only cause even though it's super catchy, the 'i've had a shit day' chorus is just kind of silly (oooh she said 'shit'), it also feels retroactive to her older material. oh hell, it's pop, what i am whingeing about?
