calling it some of the best music he's ever made in his career, james vincent mcmorrow gave us a first listen of the title track of his new album that he's releasing on friday. allegedly recorded in a freer atmosphere, james himself says that you'll hear alot of 'mistakes' on the album, but yet he's in love with the imperfections. i'm definitely in love with the first listen! this is just gorgeous!

a massive star in iceland (approximately 1 out of 10 icelandic people own his debut album which is about 6 million people!), 21 year old asgeir trausti einarsson (aka asgeir) has translated his folk meets electronic album into english with "king and cross" set as his debut single. the track is a summery folktronic jam that you can just lose yourself happily in! i'm a new fan!
