metroplane is actually the side project between dj/producers alex metric and aeroplane. after having club success with the insanely catchy 'bahp', they've now gone and added vocals by bree runway and is paving the way for a proper crossover dance pop success story. it definitely works cause i've been listening to this (loudly mind you) on repeat since discovering it a few days back. TURN IT UP!!!

sometimes a song just finds you and you are just the better person because of it. birdtalker are a collective of musicians rooted with the coupling of zack & dani green, who've spent the past year honing their sound culminating with the release of their upcoming debut album. "one" does that perfect thing where it draws you in with a kickoff hum then opens your heart with it's sage lyrics. when dani comes in with her counter melody all feels break loose and well... life is just grand afterwards. sigh.

working with the prolific mnek this is one of those sassy summer jams that you will have no problem bopping your head to in the coming days. interesting to see demi lovato really embracing the dance community with her collabs these days (perhaps a peek into a new album?). it's silly, it's fun, we kind of love it!

though this track was released late summer, it looks like london indie band crystal fighters are finally riding the swell of appreciation that is kicking in for this celebratory borderline world music insta jam! already b-listed on bbc radio 1's playlist, i promise you'll be hearing this song from their new album 'everything is my family', for months to come! brilliant!

taken from the upcoming '22, a million' album, bon iver's latest collection upon first listen sounds complex and disjointed. but strip away the seemingly random soundscapes, you can hear the same internal exploration of self that we've loved about this man from the very beginning. in fact i'd say that these songs are actually quite lush, but in that avant kind of way. here are 3 beautiful new tracks, trust me, it's worth the listen!

[UPDATED: now with the hype williams directed video, the song has definitely grown on me more since it's debut a week and a half ago] it's the return of adam lambert in the form of a strong dance pop number produced by max martin / shellback that is destined to be a hit. my only issue with the song is their need to add that dub bass which i find unnecessary since the song could do with some subtler cooler groove. this probably means the remixes are right around the corner, but for now this sets up what could be a big big year for adam!
