with valentines day right around the corner, that means we get to celebrate the most romantic day of the year with some good ol fashioned bdsm loving thanks to fifty shades! to be honest the soundtrack has always been better than the film itself and this round gets a kick off thanks to this uber catchy zayn / taylor swift duet. throw in a very adult look for our pop princess and we are heading into a new chapter in the t-swift transformation. oh and zayn still has the best looking eyes in pop!

this hypnotic track is quite a promising tease into zayn's upcoming debut 'mind of mine'. sounding quite frank ocean-y, i'm actually quite curious to hear more from the ex-boy bander. might this be a proper album?

i gotta say that zayn is definitely not taking the easy route with his debut album 'mind of mine'. world premiering the album cut "it's you" on jimmy fallon last night, zayn not only killed the vocals (kind of flawless yo!) but introduced a song that is both complex and dreamy at the same time. might need a few listens to decide if i like the song, but for sheer interesting factor, it's definitely not throwaway pop. i'm curiously intrigued on what else he has in store now.

while 1D release a not so veiled single about lack of bro-hood history (more on that in another post), zayn malik has left his boy band past behind to reboot our appreciation towards his new more dirty and raw sound (his words not mine). featuring gigi hadid, this is a pretty decent 1st release for the singer setting up what could be a solid debut in the form of the album 'mind of mine'. nice one!

with this demo taken off the internet a few hours after it was posted, producer naughty boy seems to have fanned the flames between one direction fans and their thoughts on ex-member zayn malik recording solo material. the song itself is definitely a raw but surprisingly mature track. could this be the direction zayn will be going into?
