various artists - insurgent OST
with the likes of m83, haim, lykke li, woodkid, royal blood, sohn and imagine dragons all contributing new tracks to the upcoming soundtrack to the immensely popular 'divergent' sequel, hopefully this will bide the time before the actual film gets released this weekend!

BRIT AWARDS 2015 PERFORMANCES: taylor swift / sam smith / paloma faith / royal blood / george ezra / ed sheeran / madonna

TOTALLY proving that the kids are alright, this years BRIT awards performers were predominantly in their 20's and giving the current state of music a nice taste of something different and original. plus we throw in THAT madonna performance and well... it was a pretty darn good show if you ask me!

taylor swift - blank space

sam smith - lay me down

paloma faith - only love can hurt like this

royal blood - figure it out

george ezra - budapest

ed sheeran - bloodstream

madonna - living for love

WEEKEND CATCH UP: royal blood - come on over

royal blood - come on over
there's something so wonderfully kick ass/lo-fi about these two! definitely celebrating guitar rock (i mean that riff!), i am definitely becoming a fast fan of this UK duo!

GOOD MUSIC MIX: royal blood - little monster

royal blood - little monster
who knew that brighton rocked out like this? UK duo royal blood have been compared to black keys and white stripes due to their retro garage rock sound, but like those two iconic bands, they also have a knack for good songwriting. definitely curious to hear more!
