[it's 2012 and scissor sisters offers up the 1st pop gem of the year! it's a mess but weirdly genius at the same time. even though the track fuses sass and dub and disco and latin house all in one go, it's still a scissor sisters track (and one that sounds relevant to the times which they seem to have missed out on with the last album). cool points go to azealia banks who has sprinkled some of her cool dust on these guys!]

[the build up for 'night work' begins with remixes of invisible light and the upcoming proper release of the 1st single 'fire with fire' (hurry up with that one already!). but first up is an awesome re-tweak by stuart price (zoot woman, thin white duke) who also co-produced the album with the sisters. i'm kind of feeling this version much more than the original, but i'm a sucker for slow building giorgio moroder electro loveliness!]
