re-recording their current single in a more stripped down version, there's something magical watching the amazing bishop briggs work so confidently with nathan willett. the end result is an ACTUAL duet that didn't really exist in the original. love this!

with 'faded' still running it's worldwide smash hit course of action (27 top 10 charts and counting), the rest of us now get to hear alan walker's follow up once again collaborating with the sweet vocals of iselin solheim. throw in the fact that the video is shot in my hometown of hong kong and well... i likey!

after blanking out all of their social media platforms (twitter/ facebook/ radiohead.com) radiohead relaunched them all with a brand new single with a stop motion video inspired by the cult horror film 'the wicker man'. whether this will kick off a strand of equally unsettling new songs remains to be seen, but for now this string heavy track is a massive curiosity for their fans!

yet another epic xmas gift for music fans! radiohead decided to offer up their rejected james bond single for free on xmas day! epic yet totally internal, i understand why the 007 folks opted for sam smith's horrible bombastic version instead. but what a lovely tune to get lost in! 007's loss is our gain. happy xmas!!

getting the coveted theme song to front the annual john lewis xmas ad campaign has been very beneficial for past stars (ellie goulding, tom odell, lily allen) and this year 19 year old aurora gets the chance to pull at our heartstrings with her cover of the oasis hit "half the world away". all this means big things for the norwegian singer/songwriter who has been on our radar since the summer. with a debut album set for early next year, this is just the perfect track to create some crossover buzz.

so here's the thing about ryn that i love and hate at the same time her obvious talent is so front and center, that it sometimes comes across as try hard and show off-y. alot has to do with her ambition to succeed, you can just see that her every move is pre-planned (those sideways looks!). but then again, ryn's songs are uber dynamic and insta hipster pop ready. don't get me wrong, i'm a big fan... i'm just calling it as i see it...
