sometimes a song just needs a little bit extra to push it into that hitzone. such is the case of sia's current single 'cheap thrills' which in it's original version is perfectly catchy, but somehow sean paul's additional verses just kicks the cheese factor into an awesome zone and well... maybe rihanna or icona pop wouldn't have said no then.

taken from the upcoming spring 2016 broadway musical 'waitress' (based on the classic movie), singer songwriter sara bareilles has expanded her skill set by writing its music and lyrics (which already has had a sold out run at the american repertory theater). if the rest of the music is as touching as this track, then expect some serious play during the award season next year. i'm just saying...

music is a funny thing cause sometimes it just takes a few bars from a commercial to draw you in and keep you captivated for the duration of the ad; such is the case of the jeep ad using the music of ny based band x ambassadors. with their singalong chorus and simple song structure (throw in some fancy layering behind it all), "renegades" is set to be a big hit for the band who're currently working on their upcoming major label album.

going back to their rock stadium roots, muse unleashed 'psycho' for their fans, therefore teasing a harder sound for their new album 'drones'. though this isn't the first single off the album, it is a kick in the face fuzzy guitar number that will no doubt inspire some intense air guitar-ing. go ahead... i won't judge (ok maybe i will).
