alex crossan (aka mura masa) has been on our radar since his collaboration with uk soul singer nao made our best of list last year (#25 yo!). he's now back with another wonderfully romantic jam with the help of bonzai that's just been a favorite on our carmix 2016. with a whole new generation of modern soul music coming from the UK these days, mura masa is definitely one of the buzziest acts making the rounds now. we like this guy ALOT!

co-written by romans and produced by rodney jerkins, this new single by UK soul gal melissa steel is gonna be huge! with a perfect summer groove and catchy hooks, this might even be the track to crossover to the US with. i sure hope so, cause there's something very intriguing about melissa that seems to be missing in the soul scene in the states these days.

UK singer/songwriter sinead harnett has been working towards bringing her soulful vocals to the masses for a good few years. featured in tracks with wiley, disclosure and rudimental, sinead is now front and center with her latest single that is easy on the ears and sets sinead up for what could be a solid debut album. she's on our radar!

what a gorgeous cold landscape directed by george belfield to accompany kwabs' latest beautiful single which also sets up his upcoming debut album 'love + war'. i've been fawning over this uk singer/songwriters' baritone voice for the past year and its about time he crosses over to a bigger audience in 2015. LOVE HIM!!

talk about wonderful, mashing together all the awesome 80's pop tropes with an underlying ambient ballad, this track is a nice original amongst formulaic pop these days. throw in all the real life friends and family that adam bainbridge (aka kindness) and robyn love, you get a lovely sentiment for this lovely song.
