released as a surprise single on valentines day, singer/songwriter lauv just gave the heartbroken an anthem to lose themselves in. doesn't help that the synth pop ballad is so damn catchy and continues to show what a wonderful writer ari is. love this!!!

nothing like a solid cheesy power ballad to warm up your chilly winter sadness. the little mix gals join up with jason derulo and collectively have relationships on the DL (hence the sad face for all). i have a feeling that this might be one of lil mix's bigger hits as it really is a good ballad for the season.

teasing his upcoming debut album 'blue neighbourhood', troye sivan is definitely proving himself beyond his internet sensation tag and showcasing some serious cred with the songs he's already shared with his fans. this dreamy ballad is not only a highlight of the lot, but paired with it's emotional video, is also tear worthy. swoon away kids.

this is actually a very solid pop ballad that deserves to be heard beyond the wanted's usual fanbase. i think the big confusion is that their past few singles have been all over the place (especially since they messed up by being an edm associated boy band for the past 2 years). like i said, this is a strong song so give these guys a chance will ya?
