taken off his upcoming 'the greatest gift mixtape', this is a track that was never used for sufjan's last album 'carrie & lowell'. now it's part of 4 unreleased songs mixed in with demos and alternate versions of those sessions. it's a beautiful heartbreaking story of sufjan and his mother and i'm so happy that he's shared it with his fans. SO good!

recorded during their sessions for calvin harris' current album 'motion', this rihanna sounding number is definitely a fun demo that could easily show up on the 'deluxe' version to be released later this year. we shall see, but for now it's a jam that you can only enjoy here!

produced by fraser t smith (set fire to the rain), these 2 demos didn't make the cut for adele's last album '21' but does set up some serious hype for her upcoming secret album (shall we call it '25'?) listen to these tracks before they get pulled, but they're nice numbers to remind you how amazing her voice is!

oh boy! within a week, my fave male voice of 2013 offers up two beautiful acoustic songs to his fans. whether these will be transformed into fuller productions for his debut album remains to be seen, but for now, it's all about his heartbreaking voice. swoon away fans, i sure am.

though this doesn't make the cut off her upcoming debut album dirty gold (release date tbd - like all rap albums these days), it's still a dark melancholy electronic bass number that's pretty darn cool. if this is the direction the rapper is heading then i can't wait to hear proper singles coming off this album!

with a simple instagram photo (seen above) and a link, mrs carter offered up a demo track produced by hot producer hit boy who was behind bey's hubby jay-z smash 'ni**as in paris' with kanye west. though this kind of goes in a non-sequitur direction by the end, it does show us that she is not going all matronly with her upcoming sound! i am curious!

[how gorgeous is this demo? currently adding the finishing touches of her debut album, this longtime collaborator of damien rice (adding some of the best vocals to his songs if you ask me) ended her creative relationship with the troubadour under a carefully phrased posting on his site back in march. sounds like she's doing fine without him can't wait to hear new material in the coming months!]

[jacksonville florida alt kids, with an 80's bend, release a follow up to their UK #11 charting hit "i don't want to teach your boyfriend...". though i'm still not completely won over by their lo-fi pop antics, i can't deny that their songs are definitely catchy as heck. personally i'm feeling their remixes alot more than the originals, which is why i've offered up the cansecos version for you!]
