this is a nice surprise, after putting out the superstar collab project 'funk wav bounces vol 1', calvin is embarking on a whole new sound kicking off with this island jam led by partynextdoor. throw in the trippy 80's beta feel video and you've got yourself one of the insta catchy songs of the week! wind down to this people!!

nothing like bopping your body to the jerky post-carribbean / dancehall / bass sounds of a german teenager based out of the dominican republic. background details aside, this is just a great jam that needs to be blasted out loud for the summer. it's a hoot and my choice for party anthem of the week!

a few months back, we came across the highly celebratory house track 'crank it' featuring some kick ass latin grooves and a hypnotic vocal hook. fast forward to the fall and the original version is now packed with actual lyrics and hooks galore. it's definitely made it cheesier but somehow i can't stop silly dancing to this version. sometimes you just want to have fun... now crank it!

AUDIO PREMIERE: drake - one dance (feat wizkid & kyla) / pop style (feat kanye west & jay z)

in one fell swoop drake released two new singles hyping up his upcoming album 'views from the 6' coming out later this month. the one i'm feeling is the dancehall tinged track that samples kyla's "do you mind" which i hope will generate another awesome drake dad dancing video. following that single's release, drake offered up another track featuring a pairing simply called the throne (aka kanye & jay z). just enough serious hype for all his fans. i'm SUPER excited to hear more of this album now!

wanna hear show n prove's other jam? i'm not a fan, but this might be a nice reference of this talented uk producer for you.
